In 1876 Russian inventor and entrepreneur, Pavel Yablochkov created a Light called the Yablochkov Candle. It was based on what is known as the Carbon Arc Lamp. The advantage of the Candle design over carbon arc designs is that it removes the need for a mechanical regulator to maintain the appropriate distance between the carbon blocks to sustain the arc. Basically it made the light stay lit for much longer periods of time, and could be re-lit. Based in Southern California, we are named “ARCUS” to champion the accomplishments of the inventor and electrical engineer Pavel Yablochkov.
ARCUS has been providing robust Industrial, Haz-Loc & Explosion Proof products for North America since 2013. Our History and background come from truly heavy industrial, refining, mining, manufacturing and marine applications. Our products have been engineered and designed using the latest in LED chips, drivers and extrusion technologies, in order to provide high lumen packages in a compact size. We have gone to market through our distribution partners locally and nationally and work with many OEM manufacturers in North America and Canada.
Our goal is to produce the best Haz-Loc equipment for our customers, support them with short lead times and a great warranty.
