Because of the potential for airborne particles and fumes, the facility is a Class I Div 2 hazardous environment, which imposes strict requirements on the type of fixtures that could be used safely inside. Because it was a new installation there were many competitors positioning for the project. Our quick connect technology helped cut way down on labor cost. The installation of 250 fixtures took 3 men 3 days for a full installation 20’ in the air. The final result was an extremely happy contractor, a well lit building and a customer for life in Nitro West Virgina.
